professional business woman with eyes on the rising political prize. Jason’s fiancé

fateful meeting also Jason's wedding day.." Phoebe and Jason do become professional
collaborators, however, and R.C. follows them over the years, as they turn out
hit after hit and grow closer as friends, but finally, a series of event causes
all their long-pent up emotions to burst forth. From their hilarious, yet touching,
confrontations, Jason and Phoebe discover something about the nature love and
of friendship.

Show Synopsis: Moisés Kaufman and members of New York's Tectonic Theater
Project went to Laramie, Wyoming after the murder of gay college student Matthew
Shepard. The play they wrote was based on more than 200 interviews they conducted
in Laramie. It follows and in some cases re-enacts the chronology of Shepherd's
visit to a local bar, his kidnap and beating, the discovery of him tied to a fence,
the vigil at the hospital, his death and funeral, and the trial of his killers.
It mixes real news reports with actors portraying friends, family, cops, killers,
and other Laramie residents in their own words. It concludes with a Laramie staging
of "Angels in America" a year after Shephard's death.

Strange things begin occurring all through the town, and it isn’t long before
the people of Pennystown realize that danger is abundant.

Info: Joseph Schmidt was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and lived there for ten
years before moving south, to Phoenix, Arizona. As a young man he began honing
his craft as a storyteller, beginning with short stories and poetry before expanding
towards photography and videography, amongst other mediums. A former student at
Scottsdale Community College, Joseph attended the film school and took part in
many projects in the valley, including the Universal Studios release, Kids in
America.

daughter, Echo. Dorothea, an admitted New Age eccentric, has complicated the lives
of the two other women by imposing her thwarted dreams on them, alienating Artie
not only from Dorothea but from Echo as well. As the play begins, Echo is caring
for Dorothea, who has just had a stroke. During the course of the play, Echo tries
to bring the three women together. Blessing presents fragmented vignettes of the
lives of the three women as they struggle to define themselves both as individuals
and as part of a family unit.

persuades Max to get into Morelli's Otello costume and try to fool the audience
into thinking he's Morelli. Max succeeds, but Morelli comes to and gets into his
other costume. Now two Otellos are running around in costume and two women are
running around in lingerie, each thinking she is with Morelli!

the controversial Church of Scientology in uplifting pageantry and song. The actual
teachings of Scientology are explained and dissected against the candy-colored
backdrop of a traditional nativity play. An ensemble cast of grade school children
(no, we’re not kidding) portraying Tom Cruise, Kirstie Alley, John Travolta, and
other less starry Scientologists, tells the story of L. Ron Hubbard’s meteoric
rise from struggling science fiction writer to supreme leader of a (highly-profitable)

to modern and currently popular songs. Dickens Carolers can also perform short

Stipend Show Synopsis: It’s the end of the Bush administration and John
Ashcroft (former Attorney General) has decided he needs to find a new career—on
Broadway! In a dingy motel room somewhere on the outskirts of New York City, officers
from Homeland Security and the Justice Department, have brought the playwright
of the hit musical “Urinetown” in order to get him to pen the newest one-man musical
for the very talented former AG. But the clock is ticking, Cheney is onto the
AG and all his dreams of a stellar career on Broadway could by ended by the jealous
VP. So if the G-men can’t persuade the playwright by legal means, he will be forced
to “eat the taste.”

is an award-winning satirical comedy musical that pokes fun at capitalism, social

theatre convention, parodying successful Broadway shows such as Les Misérables,
Evita, Annie and West Side Story, and even satirizes its own significance. In
reverse pantomime style, the unconventional plotline shatters audience expectations
of a pleasant ending.

ariZoni Nominations - Nominations for
the 2008 "Zonies" were announced last night during a jam-packed mixer
at the San Carlos Hotel in downtown Phoenix. To read the entire list of noms,

The Awards Ceremony will be held at the Herberger Theater Center in downtown Phoenix
mid-September. Good
quality costumes for sale. Costumes
were either nominated for Best Costuming or won for the AriZoni awards and averaged
60-80 cast members. Costuming is for Seussical, Joseph, Wizard of Oz, Once Upon
a Mattress, Oklahoma and Lion, Witch and Wardrobe. I have beautiful animal head
dresses and a great 2-person camel for Joseph. The average costuming budget for
shows was $4500.Willing to work a smokin deal! Pictures available upon request.
